IQ INTELLIGENTES WOHNEN and ROCKETHOME open a smart neighborhood in Ludwigsburg!

Together with iQ INTELLIGENTES WOHNEN, we are delighted about the opening of the first smart neighborhood for young professionals in Ludwigsburg. We toasted the future project together on site and talked about future collaboration - because more exciting projects are already being planned!

Think tank - iQ INTELLIGENT LIVING

iQ INTELLIGENTES WOHNEN is the think tank of the STRENGER Group and a pioneer when it comes to the intelligent building and living of tomorrow. In addition to extraordinary architectural concepts, the projects should have one thing above all: Innovative character. This is also reflected in the smart quarter in Ludwigsburg. Future residents can look forward to a living concept that combines various smart services under one roof and meets all the requirements for young people to live together in a relaxed atmosphere: These include co-working spaces, urban gardening and smart home applications.

Project description: The smart neighborhood in Ludwigsburg

The aim of the neighbourhood is to offer its future residents an all-round carefree package that revolutionizes everyday life and turns living into an experience. The result is a unique combination of private living spaces, shared community areas and communal spaces, as well as the innovative "iQ Club" customer platform.

Comfortable living spaces:

The apartments with an area of 30 to 100 square meters were designed for students and young professionals. Thanks to the automated control of lights and blinds and the intelligent door lock system, they offer residents maximum convenience. All apartments are also "smart home ready". This means that additional smart home applications and devices can easily be added as required by the residents. All of these functions can be set quickly and easily by users via smartphone, tablet or voice control. A door window contact informs you of any movements in the home when you are away on vacation or at work.

Attractive community spaces:

The district also boasts community areas with an integrated bar that cater to the 'sharing' trend. Residents can come together here, end the day with a drink together and engage in communal activities. Intelligent door locks and lighting systems have also been installed in the communal areas for convenient use. Another unique innovation is the neighborhood's parcel station. Not only can letters and parcels be accepted there, but fresh food from the organic farm around the corner can also be deposited in specially developed cool boxes and freshly ironed shirts and blouses from the dry cleaners can be hung up.

Innovative "iQ-Club" customer portal & smart services:

Residents can use the in-house digital customer portal "iQ-Club" to access numerous services such as a marketplace, shopping services and communication tools. This allows them to get in touch quickly and easily not only with landlords or external service providers, but also with each other in line with the neighborhood concept.

ROCKETHOME as a solution provider makes living an experience

ROCKETHOME accompanied the project as a partner for networked living & working and took over the planning of the digital infrastructure in the Heilbronner Strasse quarter. It took around 18 months from the initial idea on a piece of paper to the grand opening. With the help of holistic networking, the property can be managed in a sustainable, cost- and energy-efficient manner. It inspires with a completely new user experience for the residents. ROCKETHOME is behind the intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) building network and the specially created "iQ" app.
