Integrating the heat pump into your Home Energy Management System (HEMS) opens up additional possibilities. Using the ROCKETHOME app, you can conveniently switch between four operating modes - "Lock", "Normal operation", "Start-up command" and "Switch-on recommendation" - and adjust them as required. In combination with other IoT applications, the operating modes can be automated to use energy even more efficiently. For example, the surplus energy from your photovoltaic system can be used to set the heat pump to run at a higher level. It is also possible to use dynamic electricity tariffs to shift the operation of the heat pump to more favorable and environmentally friendly time windows.
