App Platform 4.1: More features and new design

We are pleased to announce a completely new major update to the app platform. Release 4.1 makes all customer solutions even better, smarter and faster. It includes a completely redesigned user experience, many new features and a new technological infrastructure. It is the most comprehensive update since 2020 and is now available for migration to our partners.

What new functions does the app have?

• Improved user interface: New user experience and dark mode.
• AI-ready: New data engine for rules and automations.
• Heating mode: The redesigned heating mode is now even easier to use, includes curated content for an easier start and works with all integrated heating devices.
• Support for new devices: Many new devices can be trained and used, especially in the areas of solar systems, charging stations & access systems
• Data visualization and analysis: Energy flows such as household consumption, generation or heat can now be tracked even more precisely.
• Revision of the training and invitation process: inviting users and adding devices and gateways via the app.
• Better app performance: shorter loading times and more stability.
• Simplified registration/login process: Thanks to a clear and redesigned registration process, logging in is even easier and less complicated.
• New administration modules: Completely revised features in the Property Manager for the administration of app content, services and users.

What are the advantages of the new app platform 4.1?

• Greater modularity: Navigation points/modules can now be easily shown or hidden to suit your own use cases and sorted as required. This allows apps to be set up even more specifically for projects.

• Greater scalability: Adaptation to growing requirements, the increasing number of users and increased data traffic in order to continue to offer smooth functionality and a good user experience.

The new app will therefore bring a lot of change, resulting in major benefits for users. The old portal is no longer absolutely necessary and will be replaced by a desktop-optimized version of the app in the future.
