year in review

2025 was an exciting year for ROCKETHOME: we launched many real estate projects, further established Home Energy, and entered into significant partnerships. Looking back, we highlight the projects and developments that particularly shaped the year.

January:

Start with attitude

• TEAM: The year began with a clear statement for us. Under the motto "Rockets against the Right," we stood up as a team. Because democracy, diversity, and tolerance are the foundation on which we work and live. 
• EVENT:From a technical perspective, epilot world got off to a flying start: we discussed the digital energy transition. A strong start!

February:

Home game in Essen

• EVENT: E-world 2025 was once again our class reunion for the energy industry in Essen. The focus was on HEMS solutions for the future. We demonstrated how sector coupling works in everyday life. 

• PARTNERSHIP: We have also announced an exciting new partnership: ROCKETHOME x Buildsystems – together we are bringing even more horsepower to the road.

March:

Strategy & Alaaf

• EVENT: At the ROCKETHOME Roundtable360°, there were once again intensive technical discussions and new ideas for collaborations and initiatives. We greatly appreciate this format for exchanging ideas in the energy and real estate industry.
• TEAM: Since we are a Cologne-based company, the motto in March was above all: Kölle Alaaf – because those who work hard are also allowed to celebrate.

April:

From Thuringia to Dubai

• PROJECT: A month of contrasts: On the one hand, a visit to JenaWohnen, where we were able to see for ourselves how successful decarbonization works in existing buildings, e.g., in prefabricated buildings. 
• EVENT: On the other hand, looking beyond the horizon: We were present at Middle East Energy (MEE) in Dubai to soak up international trends in the energy transition and present our solutions in a global context.

May:

Innovation & Team Spirit

• EVENT: At the Real Estate Arena in Hanover, everything revolved around the real estate world of tomorrow: We were right in the middle of the dialogue about ESG and digital assets. 
• TEAM:Being right in the thick of things was also the motto for our team event at our neighbors KG Ponyhof Weingarten —for a real after-work vibe.

platform update

• PRODUCT: A technical milestone: We have introduced a comprehensive update for ROCKETHOME Intelligence, our digital assistance system – our platform continues to grow in line with market requirements.

"Just do it" & CO₂ savings calculator

• ROCKETINSIDE: Under the title "Just do it," our CEO Yüksel Sirmasac provided insights into our mission. The real estate industry has profiled Yüksel and his career.
• PRODUCT:To go with this, we have launched the ROCKETHOME CO₂ calculator. This finally makes emission efficiency tangible and allows companies to simulate potential savings in their portfolios.

August:

Heatwave as a practical test

• ROCKET INSIDE: The heatwave in August was the best proof of why smart cooling and intelligent shading are becoming increasingly important in buildings.
• TEAM: Palo Alto & San Francisco: Our CEO gained up-to-date insights on site at the House of AI, Stanford University, and startups. Autonomous driving is already part of everyday life there—a clear lesson with a view to the next stage of development in the EU/Germany.

We don't leave anyone in the dark

• PROJECT: After Devolo went out of business, we took responsibility: With our switch campaign , we offered users a secure new home for their smart homes, because systems must be reliable—and we are there when partners or customers need us.

‍October:

Forging alliances

• EVENT: October was an intense month! At EXPO Real in Munich, we not only networked, but also forged genuine alliances. These include new partnerships with aedifion, Green Fusion, the BFE Institute, and termios for greater energy efficiency in existing buildings.
• TEAM: To make up for it, we had our fall festival at the padelBox afterwards.

November:

Our highlight – Real Energy Estate 2025 

• EVENT: Our event of the year – Together with RheinEnergie AG and Realyze Ventures, we hosted Real Energy Estate. Over 130 decision-makers from the energy, construction, and real estate industries, as well as from technology and politics, gathered in Cologne. The message was clear: a new market is emerging at the intersection of energy and real estate. It was inspiring to see how much momentum there is around this topic. A huge thank you to all the speakers and guests who made Real Energy Estate 2025 a resounding success. To be continued in 2026!

December

AI Launch & Finale

• PRODUCT: At the end of the year, we made another technical leap forward: our new AI module went live! With support, advisor, and operator functions, we are making the management of digital real estate easier than ever before. 
• ROCKETINSIDE: And then? We saw out the year in style: with mulled wine and goose at Joseph's.
